Hi, I'm Sunitha.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet — I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m excited to share my plant-based journey with you — how it began, how it’s evolved, and how it has gently guided me toward a more mindful, slow, and simple way of living.

About a decade ago, I decided to go vegan — without fully realising what that truly meant. The thought of giving up cheese felt unimaginable, but I told myself, “If it ever feels like too much, I can always go back.”
So I stepped into the journey with an open mind — and I never looked back.

Food was a big part of my life. Growing up in Bangalore, South India, I was surrounded by a rich variety of regional cuisines — not just from the south, but from across India. Over the years, I've lived on two continents and in three countries, and I’ve come to love exploring dishes from around the world that are naturally vegan or can be easily adapted. I still can’t decide whether Italian, Mexican, or Middle Eastern food takes second place to the flavours of home.

Cooking, for me, is deeply therapeutic. It feeds both my body and my soul. I’m always on the lookout for new recipes and fresh inspiration that are simple, nourishing, and rooted in joy.

I realised that being plant-based wasn’t just about what I ate — it has reshaped every part of my life. I began questioning the things I bought, the brands I supported, and the impact my choices had on the earth and the people behind the products.
Today, I choose more consciously — seeking out quality, ethical, sustainable alternatives that align with my values.

What you’ll find here is a space where I share my thoughts, stories, and of course — what’s on my plate.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you find something here that inspires you - a recipe, an idea, or maybe just the comfort of knowing you're not alone on this journey.
